Hyde Legal Group, PLLC is a boutique law firm in San Antonio, Texas serving individuals, families, and businesses across estate planning, probate, business and corporate law, personal injury, and pre-litigation matters. We offer a collaborative environment where clerks gain meaningful, hands-on experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented law student to join us as a Summer Law Clerk for a 10-week term. This is a part-time, paid position. The selected candidate may work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas, supporting active matters and contributing to client service under attorney supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Draft and review legal documents including wills, powers of attorney, and business agreements
• Conduct legal research on Texas statutes, case law, and regulatory matters
• Assist with probate filings and court documentation in Bexar County
• Support personal injury matters including demand letters and medical record review
• Prepare client correspondence and internal memoranda
• Assist with pre-litigation demand work and file organization
• Attend client meetings and hearings as appropriate
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Paid position — competitive hourly rate
• Part-time (approx. 20 hours per week)
• Monday–Friday, standard business hours
• In-person, San Antonio office

QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled as a 1L or 2L at an ABA-accredited law school
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Westlaw, Lexis, or equivalent research platforms
• High attention to detail; ability to manage multiple assignments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in estate planning, probate, personal injury, business, or tax preferred
• Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality
