P. Adams is an intellectual property attorney advising inventors, startups, and established businesses on protecting innovation and maximizing the value of intellectual property assets. His practice includes patent prosecution, trademark strategy, and intellectual property counseling across a wide range of industries.
With a strong technical background in chemical engineering, Mr. Adams brings practical insight to complex patent and trademark matters.

Mr. Adams brings a strong technical foundation to his legal practice, holding a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technologies. He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of provisional and nonprovisional patent applications covering mechanical devices, electrical systems, communications technologies, software, business methods, and biotechnology, as well as numerous design patents.
Mr. Adams has also conducted hundreds of trademark clearance searches and USPTO filings and regularly advises clients on trademark enforcement and infringement risks. His experience includes preparing infringement opinions and claim charts and representing clients in online intellectual property enforcement matters, including proceedings under Amazon’s Patent Evaluation Express (APEX) program.
Prior to founding his own law practice, Mr. Adams practiced patent prosecution at Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski Agather LLP, where he drafted patent applications and responses to USPTO Office Actions and international search opinions. His work has included helping obtain patent protection in field of artificial intelligence, LED light engines, IoT gateways, battery modules, satellite antennas, augmented reality systems, and biomechanical devices.
Mr. Adams earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he completed more than 140 hours of pro bono service. He is licensed to practice before the State Bar of Texas and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Adams has served in leadership roles in the United States Army, Texas Army National Guard, and Texas State Guard, bringing a disciplined, mission-focused approach to his work on behalf of clients.
